Kyle’s taking Cleveland by storm and here I’ve been eating canned beans and rewriting the same line of dialogue for over three hours.
On a related note, I just named my fictional band “The Idealistic Canadians.”
I have discovered that I really enjoy making facebook banners for companies. Even though they are only up for a week at a time, they can make a huge impact to your brand. (Rockin Baby Slings) - facebook.com/RockinBabySlings
I encourage everyone to make their own banners. Dimensions: 851 x 314 pixels. Make sure to compensate for your profile picture-in order to prevent your artwork from being covered up, take a screenshot, (command-shift-4). Open that screenshot in photoshop and lower the opacity. You can then tell how much space the picture will actually cover up. Have fun with it!!!!
Its funny you say that because the first version I did had a blue and red intersection. These two examples are the edited versions. Don’t know why I changed it though. Thanks!
Sending out proofs today for approval and editing. Struggling with colors on this one.

Started my internship at Go Media today! Excited to be working with some of the best designers in Ohio. This summer will be EPIC.
We had to make tutorials in class today. I decided to do chalkboard effects. Feel free to try it out for yourself, its a pretty cool trick.

I had the pleasure of mocking up some packing designs for Rockin Baby Slings recently. They just signed a contract with Nordstrom’s, so that’s awesome. Super excited to know that this design will be available in stores everywhere! Model rendered in Maya 2013.

During a bike ride the other day I stumbled upon these two squatters and their dog. I was taking photos for my digital drawing class and while shooting under the bridge I did not even notice the two sleeping bags to my right (about 5 feet away). With them was this dog, by far the kindest and most interesting dog I have ever seen. They were just about to grab the 8 am cole train to washington. Who knows where they will end up.

Procrastiworking as usual. Decided to do some random greek sculpture studies.

Ever since I discovered procrastiworking I have not finished any of my required school work. Bought a new sketchbook, decided to have fun planning my schedule of Fall 2013. Hopefully I can get into all the classes that I want.
